“Hanlon brings melody to a new level” – Boston Globe
Described as ‘a young Sting/Van Morrison with huge crossover appeal,’ (Time Out) Boston-born Hanlon is causing major waves on the international music scene with his beautifully crafted blend of jazz, pop and reggae.
The strong melodic focus of his songs coupled with a topical lyrical content are underpinned by jazz harmony, improvisation and a world-class band tonight including the astonishing Nigel Hitchcock (Ray Charles, Tom Jones), pianist Ross Stanley (Paloma Faith, Maceo Parker) and drummer Ernesto Simpson (Richard Bona). Hanlon’s group recently performed sold out headlining sets at the Cork Jazz Festival, Vandyke Club in Miami and Berklee 939 in Boston so don’t miss him here.
